The One Cookie We Use
The 'rudas.auth' cookie keeps you signed in as you move between pages of the portal. It is strictly necessary: without it you would be signed out on every click. It is set only when you sign in, and it is removed when you sign out.
- Name: rudas.auth
- Purpose: keeps your portal session signed in
- Lifetime: 8 hours, extended while you stay active
- HttpOnly, so scripts on the page cannot read it
- Sent only over HTTPS in production
- SameSite protection to limit cross-site request risks
Where Your Choice Is Stored
Your response to the cookie banner is not stored in a cookie. It is saved in your browser's local storage under the key 'rudas-cookie-consent'. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and clearing your browser's site data removes it and brings the banner back.
Analytics Without Cookies
Our page analytics are first-party and cookie-free. They run by default. There is no analytics preference button, but we continue honoring Global Privacy Control, Do Not Track, and any analytics opt-out already saved in this browser. Analytics record a deliberately small set of details: page path, referring domain, approximate country and city, device/browser family, a daily one-way visitor identifier, visible foreground time, and sanitized aggregate property searches. Raw IP addresses are never stored with browsing activity. Dashboard, login, and legal pages are never tracked.
What We Do Not Use
None of the following appear anywhere on this site.
- No advertising or targeting cookies
- No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party analytics
- No tag managers, session replay, or heatmap tools
- No cross-site tracking or interest profiling
- No email open or click tracking pixels
- Fonts are served from our own servers, so no external font requests
Third-Party Content
When a property page displays a map, your browser loads the map imagery directly from OpenStreetMap, which means OpenStreetMap can see your IP address for that request. This is the only external content the site loads, it sets no cookies for us, and it appears only on property pages that have map coordinates.
Managing Cookies in Your Browser
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Because the only cookie we use is the sign-in session cookie, blocking it will not affect browsing the public site, but it will prevent you from staying signed in to the portal. Clearing your site data will also reset your cookie banner choice.
